Hi, I’m Shannon! An Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care Nurse. After decades working across many diverse areas of nursing, I chose to focus my practice on foot health, an often overlooked but critical component of overall wellness, especially for individuals living with diabetes.
I specialize in gentle, advanced foot care aimed at preventing complications before they start. My work includes a comprehensive assessment, routine and advanced nail and skin care, callus and corn management, and early identification of high-risk conditions. I am particularly committed to protecting limb health, reducing the risk of infection and ulceration, as well as helping my patients maintain comfort, mobility and independence.
What truly sets my practice apart is my belief that exceptional care begins with trust, education and compassion. I will take the time to listen, educate and to ensure that each patient feels respected, supported and empowered in their own care. Whether working with seniors, individuals with chronic conditions, or those just seeking preventative foot care. I approach every patient with the same level of professionalism and kindness.

Hi, I’m Steph, an Advanced Diabetic Foot Care Nurse at Soft Soles. I’ve been a nurse for 14 years, and my career has taken me through a wide range of clinical settings, including medical-surgical care, ICU, labor and delivery, infusion therapy, and IV sedation in a dental practice. These experiences have given me a strong clinical foundation and a deep understanding of the unique needs of patients living with diabetes.
I’m known for being empathetic, caring, and real. My goal is to always create a safe, comfortable space where people feel heard, supported, and confident in the care they receive. I completed my nursing education through Heritage College and Athabasca University, and I continue to build my skills so I can provide the highest level of foot care to every client.
Outside of work, I’m a wife and a proud hockey mom of two amazing boys. I love spending time with my family and friends. I’m passionate about nutrition, cooking, baking, traveling, gardening, party planning, golf and using my Cricut - interests that help keep me grounded and balanced.
